Agnes is a unique Radiofrequency microneedle used to perform in-office nonsurgical facelift procedures. This includes: fat reduction procedures for eye bags, double chin, jowls, bra fat, and more. It is also used for neck lift, eyebrow lift, and eyelid lift procedures.
Agnes uses radio frequency to target precise problem areas with an insulated needle. The needle’s depth is designed to target the specific area and has an insulated coating that protects other areas of the skin, which results in less downtime during recovery.
When treating under the chin for example, the needle is inserted into the fad pad and radio frequency energy is delivered to that fat, where it simultaneously removes fat and tightens the skin.
What are treatments like?
That will depend upon the area being targeted. Typically anticipate a numbing cream to be applied to the area about 20 minutes prior to the procedure taking place. There may be minimal discomfort during the procedure as well as minimal pain. For areas that need deeper treatment, a local anesthesia will be used, as well as the numbing cream. For acne treatment, we will recommend that you return to the office in 24 to 48 hours for further treatment, including any supplementary drainage of sebum. Treatment consists of inserting an insulated needle into the wrinkle, fat pad, or acne follicle and using radio frequency to trigger the exact number of pulses needed for the area being treated.
What is recovery like?
During the first week, you may experience some redness, swelling, and bruising. For deeper treatments you may experience some numbness in the treated area for up to four weeks.
When Will I See Results?
During the recovery period, the treated area may look worse which is normal. As you recover over the weeks and months following the procedure, you will notice a remarkable difference as new collagen forms and skin tightens, remolding your structure to the desired image. Though it is possible to achieve maximum results from one treatment, not every procedure is that simple. For that reason, you may need two or more for the optimal result.
