How Can I Reduce My Risks of Bruising?

Here are a few tips to help minimize bruising from the treatment.

One week before treatment, avoid the following: Aspirin, NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Aleve, Motrin, etc.), St. John’s Wort, Vitamin E, Multivitamins, Krill Oil, Fish Oils, Flaxseed Oils, Omega-3, Gingko, Ginseng, Garlic, and Glucosamine.

Eat FRESH pineapple twice a day for two days. It contains bromelain that has been known to decrease bruising
No alcohol consumption two days before injections
Dr. Margolin recommends taking Arnica Montana for three days before your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising and swelling.

How long will the results last?
As with any dermal filler, the results are only temporary; however, you can expect JUVEDERM results to last up to a year.
